Acroyoga Workshop: Hand-to-Hand FUNdamentals with Patrick

Learn the art of hand-to-hand and balancing upside-down on someone! This workshop will cover the essential components of a stable and efficient H2H in L-basing (where the base is lying on the ground) in the first part and standing (where the base is standing).

The workshop will cover techniques for both basing and flying, drills and self-practice tips for wrist/core/shoulder strengthening, as well as methods for how to enter and fall out safely. More advanced participants will get a chance to refine their practice and work on different entries and exits.

No partner needed! We will practice in groups of 3-4 people.

The workshop will consist of two parts/sessions:

Part 1 (11:00-13:00): We will stay on the ground (L-basing) and go through all the details of the H2H. If you already have some experience, we will refine your technique and make it more reliable and stable.

Part 2 (14:30-16:30): We will move to standing H2H. Again, we will have a detailed look at the skill itself and provide you with safe entries and exits.

Both parts build on each other, but it is also possible to participate in only one of them.

Prerequisites:

Part 1 (11:00-13:00): Stable star, ability to hold a 10-second handstand against the wall

Part 2 (14:30-16:30): Some standing acro experience and H2H experience on the ground recommended

Bookings may be canceled up to 48 hours before the first part of the workshop starts with a full refund, minus transaction costs.
