Crawling Back to the Roots of Resilient Movement

Whether you’re an athlete, dancer, therapist, or simply someone who loves to move — this workshop offers a fresh and intelligent way to understand recovery and prevent injuries at their root.

Before we ran, danced, or lifted — we crawled.

Crawling is one of the most fundamental building blocks of human movement. Yet as adults, we rarely return to this early pattern, even though it holds powerful keys to how we move, coordinate, and heal.

This Feldenkrais-based workshop offers a unique approach to injury prevention and recovery — not through stretching or strengthening, but by reconnecting with the deep neurological and biomechanical intelligence of crawling.

Together we’ll explore:

  • How crawling organizes the relationship between head, spine, eyes, and limbs
  • How clarity in these connections supports dynamic balance, smoother coordination, and safer transitions
  • How returning to these primal patterns can refresh the way we move today and help prevent unnecessary strain

Through attentive guidance, we’ll open a doorway into the world of our movement habits — and discover just how remarkably effective this method can be for both healing and resilience.

You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to reduce tension, restore clarity, and rebuild your foundation for safe, enjoyable movement.

This is not a class about working harder. It’s about moving smarter — by listening more deeply to how your body organizes itself at its core.

No prior experience is needed — just a sense of rediscovery for the intelligence your body already holds.

About the Instructor:

Adi Levinson is a certified Feldenkrais Method teacher, dancer, and former professional athlete in swimming, running, and cycling. He is also a trained social worker specializing in trauma and stress regulation. Based in Berlin, Adi brings a rare combination of somatic depth, performance experience, and athletic insight to his teaching.

His approach blends movement intelligence with real-world practicality — helping people prevent injuries, recover from them more effectively, and reconnect with their natural coordination and strength.

Drawing from his background in contemporary dance, Capoeira, and the Feldenkrais Method, Adi creates classes that are both physically engaging and deeply accessible. He trained at leading programs including SADNA Dance School (Israel), KCDC, PERFORMACT (Portugal), and completed his Feldenkrais certification at the Ann Arbor Feldenkrais Training in the U.S.

In his workshops, participants explore foundational patterns like crawling — rediscovering the essential mechanics that support all movement. Through attentive guidance, Adi helps students reduce unnecessary effort, sharpen awareness, and build lasting resilience.

His teaching is precise, playful, and grounded in the belief that healing begins with learning — and that the body always holds more intelligence than we realize.
