Jorge @jorgebascunan is a Brazilian freelance artist currently based in Berlin. He completed his bachelor’s degree in physical education and is a certified Pilates and kung fu teacher.

Jorge has been practicing kung fu for 12 years in a traditional school in São Paulo - Brazil, the Huangshan. It is a traditional Chinese martial arts school of the Tan Lang Quan (Mantis fist) kung fu lineage that follows the teachings of the Chinese master Sun Deyao.

Since 2012, he has been the director or co-director various collectives for art and performing arts, including the Baillistas Collective, Ìdrima, and the dispersal.collective. In 2016, he moved to Germany, where he obtained his master’s in contemporary dance education.

His independent work focuses on the translations of somatic practices, seeking to re-signify symbolic aspects of contemporary corporeality.

Traditional kung fu is a self-defense practice that develops physical conditioning, discipline, and balance. It brings an improvement of lifestyle, health, wellness, and balance within an inclusive and respectful environment respecting the developmental stages of each individual.

During the training sessions, we will work on individual exercises and structures of combat in partnering formats, working on punches, kicks, falls, and martial sequences.

Misa @misayoga was born in Belgrade into a family of athletes who dedicated most of their life to sports. Prolific in sport from his early days, he explored martial arts and acrobatics (capoeira, karate, kung fu and gymnastics).

He fell in love with yoga while studying sports in the faculty of sport and physical education. Since that time, Misa has been an avid explorer of yogic disciplines. He obtained his yoga teacher certification in hatha and ashtanga from the Rishikul Yoga Shala in Rishikesh (@rishikulyogshalarishikesh).

Today, he strives to continuously improve his skills and guide his students safely by using yoga in conjunction with gymnastics strength drills and contortion principles of flexibility.

Hanna @yunajahri is a Berlin-based circus performer and trainer specializing in contortion and straps.

She discovered her passion for circus and movement at a young age and followed this dream until she completed her three-year artistic education in Berlin in 2022.

She has been sharing her love for movement and fascination with exploring the limits of her body for years in her classes with children, professionals and amateurs.

Contortion classes can be taken by anyone looking to improve their flexibility, regardless of their level. No need to panic!

The word contortion can often sound intimidating, when in reality it is a fun and rewarding form of flexibility training that you can implement into any floor and aerial-based disciplines. These classes are ideal to be taken in conjunction with other classes.

During these classes, you will learn some of the basics of contortion such as bridges/backbends, splits, walkovers and chest stands. During this learning process, I will make sure to put your well-being first, teaching you how to train your body safely and effectively.

Paola @paul.iissh is an Italian freelance dance facilitator, performer and creative based between Berlin and Antwerp.

She owns a BA Degree in Dance Studies at the University of Malta and she is currently enrolled as a MA Dance student at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp - DeSingel, where she is leading her own embodied research on how to enhance the sense of touch, smell and taste in a performative setting.

In Berlin she works as a somatic-based movement classes facilitator as well as a dance creative and performer in both collective and individual projects. She is currently developing a workshop series with colleague Milan Herencsar under the collective FluidForms whose aim is to suggest new approaches to movement inspired by the interconnection between sense stimulation and evolutionary movement.

She likes to teach to people who are new to dance or have limited experience with it, accompanying them through the journey of discovering of themselves and their bodies through movement.

This class takes inspiration from release technique and floor work. It begins with a warm-up, through which a connection between body and mind is built.

We’ll follow a short movement combination that will challenge participants’ perception of movement in space in relation to music and other moving bodies.

The class will end with a cool-down, guided by mindfulness practices, which will allow bodies to regain their regular peace. The class will be a place of experimentation through set movement combination, created to help participants to understand and wisely control the mechanism of their own moving bodies.

Pamela Moraga @pamemoragam is a freelancer choreographer and dancer, starting her career in Chile after finishing her bachelor in Dance and choreography.

She collaborated with important independent choreographers and companies in Chile, and developed her own dance projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary artists from Berlin’s independent art scene.

Dachverband Tanz Deutschland supported her as artist for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023 creating her solo “Suspended Earth” and trio “LATINX”

This year she has turned her attention to work as dance teacher developing her own practice and sharing them with dancer and dance amateurs.

Most people dance on their feet on the ground, but @sarahrepond decided to change her perspective of the world, and in turn decided that dancing with her feet in the air looked like much more fun.

She moves with the rhythm of the music and lets her body tell a story without saying a word.

Originating from Switzerland and with a background in gymnastics, Sarah found a passion for circus at a young age. This led her to train at Die Etage in Berlin, where she specialized in hand balancing and Washington trapeze.

She performs for anyone who is willing to be entertained. With a passion for music and movement, she expresses herself in an honest and carefree manner.
